I have taken to pushing back and not giving up control in pots....my norm line is a smooth call on the pre-raise then check raise even on a missed board. Is this a play that will provide long term +ev or should I play the call and hope game or just fold and move on to another hand...any input will help..thanks!

any reads on this villian? Have you been playing a TAG game?

As played, I give this up on the PF. AQo can easily be dominated, and since your UTG, you're raise indicates strength, yet MP comes over the top of you. You're behind here more often than not. MP prob had AK here.

If you say he's aggro. I assume you suspect he 3-bets you light or is it just postflop agression?
If he's also aggro PF, I'd 4bet here to slow him down on the 3-betting.
The flop raise is a little weak. Make sure to not raise a different amount when you have it and when you don't

I'm on 3 other tables with him and he is down 3 buy ins so he is wanting to play every pot vs me and tends to wanna repop.
