( i figured i'd put this here since this forum gets more attention than Beginners Questions )
Hey everyone,
I had a small bankroll, started from nothing and worked to $360 i was running well general and that took a reverse swing and cashed out what was left (about $200). That was my first pretty successful roll, i gave myself $100 this time after i cashed out my previous effort.
Statistics time:
That is largely what i was playing before, also i was playing without PT for some of it and also on other sites. I've also got another PT database on my PC that has more hands, so they are not all in one place unfortunately.
My evaluation of myself:
- I don't think i am far from being profitable at the present time. I am about $14 down on my initial $100 on FTP and that drop was due to a couple bad beats and a couple mistakes. There are signs of my profitable self, but there are a few holes that need pluggin'.
- My mental stability is still questionable, but it is something i endeavour to improve. I just need to get used to and appreciate the often large fluctuations.
- Preflop i think im ok, prolly play Ax a little too much, but i perform standard raising alot of the time. I am still not nearly aggro enough though, not raising enough hands. I never open limp (unless it is by accident). Also, i think that i am folding behind an initial raise too much.
- Post flop i am rubbish, having a real hard time knowing where i am. For example, with this deposit i am a little out of touch and am facing pot sized bets on the river OOP. I really don't know where i stand.
Some hands:

I don't really have anything to say for this one.
I would appreciate any pearls of wisdom and advice in general. I would also be interested in finding someone who could watch me from time to time via AIM or MSN for example. If anyone is interested then that would be great, i won't however be someone who constantly nags, just from time to time.
Thanks,
