Villan is taggish yet passive, 24/9/1.3/100
Played a few pots using position since we are deep and he has been passive, traded some small pots thats about it. Elected to call preflop since I didnt want to play a huge pot OOP with AJ while deep.

Thoughts on hand and what to do on river. Thanks.

I think shoving is best. IMO theres 2 hands that beat you. 2 that may pay you off and one you are splitting with.

The 2 you beat will probably check behind.

The 2 that beat you will shove and you will call anyways.

Who cares if he has AJ.

I cant see him being on a draw after calling that monster turn bet...even with KQc/K10c.

I like shoving.

Clear shove. It's not even a psb, and he is never folding AK or AQ If he gets this far. And if you get boated, sucks for you.

AA/JJ raise the turn to protect Imo, and regardless of how passive, I think he pushes flop with those hands given flush draw.

Check/Call misses value and is really results orientate advise I think.

I was in the shove boat since I was obviously calling anyways. Was just discussing it with someone and we didnt have the same reasoning.

Anyone else?

Villain would never bluff us in this spot. The river is a total brick and doesnt change a thing, and we have been very very agressive.

The only time villain would bet this river is when villain is ahead, but if he is ahead of us now, he probably was on the turn so it would make sense for him to shove that turn with all the hands whcih beat us.

villain could put us on busted draw and call

so i think shoving is best

ninja bump for the morning crowd.

I was talking with another 2+2 player and he thought I should check/call thinking that I was gonna be beat alot of the time when called.

My reasoning was that my stack was 3/4 psb on river and since I was going to call him anyways that I needed to just shove. I figured board pairing was good card for me since now AK/AQ might call the rest.

Villan had KJ btw.

I think villans love to bluff in large pots.

Aren't you kind of saying "hes solid he wont bluff" and "hes solid he'll lose 3 buyins with AK and AQ here"?

Seems like we're convincing ourselves he's a huge donk, yet he wont bluff.
