Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker (http://www.legopoker.com) Hand History Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

SB: $39.25
BB: $29.65
UTG: $28.50
Hero (MP): $25.00
CO: $24.05
BTN: $10.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif A/images/graemlins/heart.gif (6 Players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.85, 2 folds, SB calls $0.75, BB folds

Flop: ($1.95) K/images/graemlins/spade.gif 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif A/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 Players)
SB bets $1.95, Hero ???

Villain is 30/10 and seems decent.

Is a raise standard here? I hate to bloat the pot, but I also hate to let them draw if they are donking into me with spades or a K

I'm terrible in these spots too...TP with a meh kicker on a board like this. If some SSNL'ers could chime in it would be awesome.

Maybe try a re-raise just to see if he has the goods. Either that or call flop bet and see if he leads outs gain on the turn. I'd be more inclined to flat call.

call reavaluate turn is my line. I don't like stacking with top pair low/medium kicker so i'm gone after most turn bets.

What's the plan if he leads on a non-spade turn for like 1/2 pot?

i might call and i might fold, kindof touch andgo. i prefer
foldding for 1/2 pot on turn like 75% of the time though.

Gabrie: could you elaborate on villain's range and why you like a fold?

I have a feeling this might be right, but i'm not sure.

I raise pot 50% of the time, and call the rest.

Folding is so weak. Your basically saying that villians pf calling range is a8+, which it isnt.

Raise, and if call he will check most turns to you. You can re-eval (check behind is fine).

Calling is also fine, because he has KQ, KJ, TT Here often IMO. They wont double barrel all that often with the second best hand, so the turn will enlighten you plenty.
