though capable of bluffing, there are just too many hands that he could have that got there... I fold.

These players often overbet when they have it because everyone calls them down light.

bet turn on this hand. You'll be told right there whether he's got a flush draw or hit something like 76/65 or flopped a set. The hands you're beating will call, the hands you're losing to will c/r you.

Make the ones still drawing pay.

If you are in position like this, I prefer to bet about 1/2 the pot on the turn. You will find out right away if you are beat. If he is slowplaying and checks the river, you can check behind. If you are out of position, you can c/f the turn.

You gave him an opening to bluff you on the river by checking the turn.

When did you see Villian openlimp before? With SC or a small to middle PP? Than we are very often behind on this board.

It's hard but I fold here.

What about the turn shouldn't we be betting here?

Fold river, he could easily have a hand that beats you here given his stats.

Gotta agree with everyone here.... you're probably not beating much and if he is bluffing, simply tip your hat and find a better spot. Also, you only have $8 invested in the hand, don't turn the small loss into a decent size one with so many hands out there that could beat you.

Also, I thought your point about him being 62/24 here was key. You raised preflop and he simply called. In my experience, these players usually have trash when calling from the big blind heads up, or are capable of having trash in many cases. This hand with 75543 and 3 hearts in right in that range of trash that he's capable of. If he was a tighter player I actually might give more credence to a bluff here, but in my experience his VPIP actually leads me to believe that he's more capable of actually having it.

Definite fold.
