Why is your turn bet smaller than your flop raise?

Once he raises you on the turn he's telling you that he has one pair beat. Just fold it there. Or at the very least just call his raise, what the heck is he raising with here that you have beat, K9? I know it's 5 cent NLHE but still.

Yeah... what is with that turn bet?

You have to realize when you bet .40 into a nearly $2 pot, it looks like you're weak. So people are going to raise you. It also confuses things because you don't know if he's raising you because he THINKS you're weak or because he's got a good hand.

Frankly, a lot of people will raise their simply because you don't look strong.

On another note, I don't like much about your line. You managed to get 200bb into the pot with a pair of 9s.

Granted I don't play those tables but I wouldnt expect a mid pair to be the kind of hand I want to get a deep stack all in.

wow, that was played baaaad.

1) First of, dont make plays with hands that are easily dominated in the BB.

2) Don't Checkraise the flop. bet out!

3) If you checkraise, make it bigger!

4) WTF 0.4?! IF he is drawing, you give him the odds to call, if not, he could bluff or raise with the best hand and you'd never know what it was.

5) then raising... uhm... you really think your TP is good here?

Preflop: reraise or fold
Flop: c/r is fine, but it needs to be bigger
Turn: either c/f or bet $1.5 to full pot and fold to aggression. what do you hope to accomplish with a bet of ~1/5 pot? if villain calls your turn bet, shut down on the river.
