Villain is 16/13 after 140 hands. Is it a mistake to call his preflop reraise?

Not at all. you are getting correct implied odds to flop a set and take his stack. Just realize that once you call his 3 bet you have essentially made your tens a set mining hand. I would probably fold flop 75% of the time and only call if my PFR on the table is >20 and makes villain believe I raise light PF.

i think theres a thread explaining the math somewhere. he has to stack off every time to make it profitable, and the times he has AK he won't. If he is a super nit and will only raise with say QQ+ then it's ok i guess.

understood. if OP has an aggressive image that causes villain to 3-bet lighter, would you still fold?

nah because you can play TT for pair value now. In this situation I'm assuming that this guys range is JJ+ AK maaaybe TT and AQ, but it's better to error on the tighter side i think. (16/13 is pretty nitty), unless he starts getting out of line.

This is a fine pf call. There's 4 in the pot, 22 left, 13-1 on your call. That's plenty of overlay if he misses AK and you don't end up stacking him off if you hit a set, and enough for when you get set over set, too. OOP it'd be murder. I'd be better if you play post flop well and could profit by calling the flop here when it feels right too.

It's tight, but okay. If you're still feeling your way around, fold it. If you're stretching your wings, call.
