Villain is the same villain from earlier, 40/10. I hope/think this is standard, but are we better off just taking a cheap turn and trying to stack him?

I think he folded to flop bets around 60%

*Extra Credit*
So if I just call, there is a $20 pot and I have position. How deep do we need to be before calling > shoving? More than $40 behind (full stacks?)

Wow, no. I disagree very much with shoving this flop. The reason you were shoving the other flop, is because you basically had like 15 outs. I'm not shoving any flop like this without a strong combo draw (13+ outs). You don't have 13+ outs here, you have 9 outs to the nuts. I don't feel like doing pokerstove at the moment, but given the simple 2/4 rule, you are about 36% to win by the river.

This is a big spew in my opinion. I would just call the raise and reevaluate on turn. I mean... even a pair of 4s beats you right now.

Yeah but a pair of 4's isn't calling......

and a lower flush draw might be.

Not saying calling is wrong, but I think this definetly isn't spew (it's +EV, calling just may be more +EV). I will admit that over a small sample these shoves are getting called more than I expected.

Totally different hand. We've got a way different flush draw with a much different range for villain.

Villain is much more likely to have a hand here, and we've got far fewer out if behind. The three overcard outs for the ATs hand flesh out to about 12 in the other thread -- versus the bare 9 here. FE is far smaller too. A cr is more often a real hand vs a mr in position.

You can call the raise in this one with your position and punish him for raising too little.

When you hit your draw you want to take down a nice pot but be carefull not to go overboard and make it cost you your entire stack when you dont hit. Yes you have folding equity but it is obvious with the c/r that villain has no objections to getting his money in the pot. IMO your focus needs to shift to pot control.

Just call the flop raise. I'd 3bet if I had a pair with the flush draw...or a straight draw with the flush draw. Here just call.
