-After that nine came out on the river, I definitely saw my hand drop in value, but nonetheless, the kind of money that was going into the pot made me cancel out even the thought of him having a gut shot throughout the hand. I assumed him for a two pair, or more likely a trip, so his re-raise made me feel like he is trying to get me to fold. Being commited, I re-raised all-in. Any thoughts?

Absolutely standard. There is definetely a lot of value on raising the river, I mean his range isnt a J all the time, nor JQ. Is he chasing a gutshot every single time?? guess not.
River action is perfect.
