Villain is unknown, but a couple of hands before he raised scare flop, got re-raised then folded to my turn bet.

What made you check raise?

I normally just cbet, i hate c/r when theres draws out because your FE is reduced and you make a massive pot and they continue to chase lol.

I don't mind the shot on the flop with the c/r just as long as you do this with other hands as well. Personally I prefer a straight line of C-bets though.

I find you will see a lot of Ax and JX hands here. And it sucks that they won't let them go.

I don't like it unless you have a fantastic read that a person can lay down and/or you've done this before to people with the goods.

This is a much more expense play if you're against someone who won't fold an ace.

Just c-bet. If he calls, shutdown...
