I can't see villain having AK beat here unless he has AhAx and played it this way. A set would raise the FD flop much more often than not. It's a matter of calling down, or raising the turn AI and punishing what seems like KQ.

I hate these spots. His range includes set of dueces of 8s and probably KQ, KJ. He wouldn't be calling with an under pair to the king, it isnt a 2pair. I would probably call down here.

Have you seen him smooth call monstor hands at all?

Here is an important question. How do you think the villain views you? Are you playing laggy or tight? Have you and the villain clashed, have you two barreled and shown down any mediocre hands? Have you been folding to raises?

This looks like a set to me. He probably puts you on the King but raises turn anyway. If he had KQ or KJ why would he call the flop and raise the turn? That doesn't make much sense to me.

I think you are right, i now agree with a set.

Can the OP put villains hand in white please?

i think this is 88s and 22s a lot here. i seriously consider folding.

I see a set also, but decided to play it tricky on the flop, hence no raise. I think you're beat here, IMHO. Fold.

It looks like a slow played set to me. You have raised EP so he knows you should have a decent hand. He CC flop which could be a float but when you fire turn he knows you definitely have something (prob AK) so when he makes the small raise on turn he is screaming strength and I think you can fold

I fold here most of the time (I agree with the assessment that this looks like a set)unless I have a read that my opponent is spewy.

BELOOOOOGA theory applies here i believe:
