Now I really didn't know what to put BB on but I knew Button had an A. I thought MAYBE BB had an A as well, but both not so big aces since I wasn't re-raised. Turn was a scare card just in case anyone was playing A-rag but after everyone checked I figured that probably isn't the case. Did I play this ok?

I was a little confused as to why BB called the re-raise by Button. I didn't put him on a monster since he did not re-raise, just flat called. Basically I had no clue what he had...

you caught one of the best possible flops for your hand. After BB calls btn's minraise I am 3betting all day. I dont mind getting it in.

Usually I wouldn't disagree you, but I just got this notion that it's VERY likely BB has me completely beat. By the way he played it, he sure as hell was slow playing something.

When he check-calls flop he has a weak ace more often than not. Ok so he flopped the straight this time, but donks also play weak aces this way.

Get it in on the flop.

Get it in on the flop.

You're ahead most of the time. By shoving the flop you are more likely to get called by worse hands, and by not doing so you make the rest of the hand very hard to play.
