Villain is 53/8/1 over 90. River AF is 5.50 compared to flop+turn which are both sub-1, is this enough to make the call here? How about earlier street bet sizing?

Tough spot. I think you played it fine on all streets. I'd lean towards a fold, not worried about a flush but I think this is two pair A LOT of the time.

Just looking at the numbers:
With a 90 hand sample overall I wouldn't give too much credit to a 5.5, since he has probably only played very few hands to the river.
Did you see him pull something similar in earlier hands?

I like to bet 2.10 on the flop since there are 2 draws present. I like 3.50 on the turn, although it's at the low end and might send out scared vibes. I'd probably bet 4.
Overall I think you played it well and I'd lean towards folding. He has 2-pair a lot I think.

No actual memory of this guy pulling anything bluff-wise. I'm beginning to think this was a pretty bad call in terms of how I played the rest of the hand versus his river bet sizing.

I did call after tanking for awhile and he showed a QT of diamonds. Even though I won it still felt very thin and I think most of the time this is a bigger hand, 2pr+ trying to make up for playing earlier streets passively.

i think you played this hand absolutely fine if you fold here.

We want our bet sizes to be for +ev not to send out scared vibes.
