Am I ok to value bet this river? Do you think I induced a raise by betting so small on the river? Easy call?

River is tough as played. Depends on opponent really. I would fold - looks like he was just itching to CR there.

If you are going to valuebet, make it a real bet. 2/3rds pot or so. That way at least you get good enough value when you are ahead to make up for [censored] spots where you get CR'd like you just did.

Unless villain is sophisticated enough to realize that there might be an opportunity to bluff this river I think you have to assume that against an average $10NL villain you're behind here.

Had you seen villain do anything that would make you think they were capable of this type of play?

I did, in fact call the river. I just couldnt find too many hands that beat me that would play that way. except for a slowplayed monster or he ran into KQ. It was, in fact KTo... villain played weird and must have viewed my little value bet as weakness. Could this be a good strategy sometimes? Bet small on the river for value to make it look weak hoping to induce a raise?

This is not a strategy. Unless you put them on a missed flush draw you shouldnt be betting so small. It actually looks very strong. You were just lucky that the villian was stupid enough to go all in.

Also if you bet that small on the river when ur decent then you will not be maximising your profit, if you bet 2/3 of pot everytime u think your ahead then your going to be getting alot more value out of them....

I guess I felt a suck bet was the only one that was likely to be called.
