So I had this hand against a presumed 2+2er last night, and I got berated for making this flop call and was told to go post this hand here so you guys could tell me how stupid I am. So go ahead!

Villain is 18/15/4 over 90 hands, when I had this hand i had slightly different stats but I don't remember what they were at. I should appear as a 21/18/3.5 to him. I was aware that I wasn't getting great direct odds but I thought with ~110BB behind I'm getting some pretty good implied odds even if some of my outs complete the flush (and he might just call my bet with a flush draw) and even if I hit my hand some hands in his range could have a redraw to beat me. This may be somewhat -EV but it unintentionally ended up being like the hand in NLHTAP where he talks about making small mistakes and getting berated for being a chaser and whatnot. But anyhow go ahead and tell me how bad I am.

I dont think your implied odds are all that great.

Villain might have a set, a small/medium pair or a flushdraw. A big pair is unlikely given preflop - which would be the best case scenario for you. If he has a set he wont give a free card on the turn, and when you hit he has a redraw. Small/medium pairs wont give you more action if you call or reraise. And flushdraws will only give you more action when they hit.

So yeah, fold flop unless you have a real read that says he likes to c/r bluff.

fold flop, you probably have dirty outs anyways

Don't mind if you include diamonds in your number of outs.
