The stats are basically the only "read" I had on them. What is hero going to do after the donk and why is he doing this?

easy fold. you have another player to act and this is a half pot bet into you. if this were one of those .2 leads i would say raise but here i think your only viable options are to raise and fold. raising here is just going to bloat the pot with a middling hand.
