Paired board makes this a little tricky, I have you at about 35% equity. Given that you have no FE after his raise to 15 im not sure your push was so great, which means that to c/r as a bluff probably wasnt good either.

Pretty wierd spot, but maybe c/c because your draw isnt good enough to stack off with?

What he said.

Is anything else in his range?

dont really love preflop either given BTN is a 1/2 stack you dont have great implied odds and not a fan of playing SC oop agiant shorties really id rather 3 bet this pre than flat call but w/e c/c is prob better here but I dont hate c/r after you get repoped I guess you have to just push?

this is a fold or 3bet PF and with villains stack i am strongly leaning towards letting this go PF. 3betting makes this hand a lot easier to play on the flop.

as played, c/c flop and c/f unimproved turn.

Since with a stack this shallow I play to stack or fold position is not such a big issue here.
If I hit the board in any way the line is check/raise anyhow so I don't mind villain having the lead all that much.

I don't like a 3bet against a half stack with 86s OOP because it's a lot uglier to not have position in that case.

I think preflop sucks against a shortie, and I think b/3b is the best line on the flop, since it's so dry and he's probably raising with air a lot. Anyway, this is a spot where you want to play for max FE or not at all, since your implied odds are kind of shot with his short stack, paired board, low draw, etc. Also, you're OOP so if you play this passively, you end up putting money in and then whiffing and watching him check behind the river with A high a lot.

I would have let this go preflop, but I consider calling a smallish mistake. After that I think your play is defendable. If you're planning the checkraise I think it has to be with the idea that either he's folding or you don't mind getting it all-in on this flop.

Either lead out or call this flop to hit. The all-in is just spew.
