the villain is 31 15, i was playing 16 13. Considering his range is this a better line then betting the flop?

against a tighter player it has its merits as you aren't going to get much out of him.

But against a player like this just value bet...no need to get tricky.

plz do not check that flop, u have to fire it down. Drawy board and an awful lot of scarecards.
Turn, if u are willing to 4b just put all your money in dont leave 6.3 behind.

i prefer leading the flop most times.

given that you didn't, bet/3-bet seems okay (just shove).
