I'm 15/10 for the session. Table is fairly passive and my raises and c-bets are getting through well.

Villain is 45/10 over 80 hands, passive postflop but open limps/calls preflop with trash. Always minraises.

Absolute Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

River: ($6.45) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks.

Final Pot: $6.45

First of all, bad spot to 3 bet? Flat call better here in the blinds?

What about the turn check? He'd fold missed overs and there's no real draws out there so I slowed down, should i be leading here again given my line so far?

I assume river is okay?
Damn postflopaments.

I think this is well played all the way through.
Problem with turn bet (or river bet too usually) is it's an all in if we are behind and he folds his trash out.

I check the flop here I think. But if you think he'll call with overs then it's ok

Why do we check the flop, with the intention of c/raising if he takes a stab?

Do we want to give overs a free card?

I think preflop and flop are fine. The danger in calling that minbet on the turn OOP is that villains thinks you're not too sure about your hand and will bet big on the river a certain amount of the time to take the pot away. How often that is depends on your reads. Just make sure that you are careful with this line against the probebet-allin types, because you have a vulnerable hand.

checking the turn is my only issue here, but the bet is so small that i can't imagine it is backed by a legit hand. i'd say maybe raise the turn, but for sure value bet the river.

Thanks for the replies guys, I felt I played it reasonably given my take on the villain, however I accept that against the better or more aggro players the play on the later streets could get me into trouble.

Results: Villain had 77 and my hand is good.
