UTG checks, Hero $4.00, UTG raises to $20.65, Hero?

I was not completly sure what to do there, I bet $4.00 as value/block bet . In my mind I thought of pro and con’s to calling.
Con’s: paired board so perhaps a FH, river reraises rarely a bluff on NL 25
Pro’s: missed flush, smaller straight possible, villain is loose donk ->perhaps trips.
Any thoughts what you might do? Could have reraised it PF, but table was really loose and didn’t feel like going vs 3 players in a raised pot early in the session. Will post results later.

Easy call. He could have a naked 8, A6 or some weird two pair. He could also be doing some fancy play syndrome garbage on the "scary" river card.

well i raise this pf many times to just build the pot and narrow down villain´s ranges and also to take down the pot preflop. imo either fold here or raise although limping behind is nt a "mistake"
the hand obv plays completely different if you raise preflop.
as played i bet more on the flop to build the pot just in case i hit and i always find it astonishing how much fe you have in these multiway limped pots b/c nobody wants to go broke in a liped pot.
same for the turn. you have hit your hand and want get paid, so bet about 3.2$ as played on the flop.
also bet bigger on the river. it looks very weak.
íf you bet 1$ on the flop, 3.5$ on the turn there will be 11.2$ in the pot. value bet the river about 8$ and call a reraise. you will def be up against a fh a couple of times here but imo you are winnig here often enough to warrant a call.
i´m curious about other opinions though...

That blocking was a silly remark by me, it's getting late here /images/graemlins/smile.gif. But I called quickly and he showed me 35o....hurray for donkey /images/graemlins/smile.gif.
