I really felt like if I bet the turn he's gonna fold because he will be scared of something. How could I have played this hand better?

Why would he flat calll me on the flop if he had AK? And check the turn?

Villain still has ~45 behind on turn. I half-pot it here. If he is calling your strong flop bet he has to have a big king here or two pair, and he will consider himself pot committed with when you shove for the remaining 20 chips in his stack on fifth street.

I think sometimes it is attractive to try and suck him in with the turn check river bet. However I still think you are missing value in there somewhere by doing that.

Okay, should try it. I had the feeling he wouldn't call another bet and as I figured he was drawing dead I wanted him to improve.

Don't really like 3betting pre from UTG+1 against UTG open.

Bet the turn most of the time, but if you CB turn, then bet bigger on river.

I was in the CO. and They raise with any kind of crap and I don't want 4 callers with 99 and 3 overcards.

The play preflop is fine, the turn play is shitte.

I was thinking lets check and make him think I missed.
