hi,
i would only call preflop.
which hands can call a .22 raise? only hands which beats you. (oke sometimes they play crazy on this limits but.. =))

on flop he maybe got a king high flush draw. with a pocket pair he would defend against a flush.

the raise on flop is ok.

just call the turn.
he called a large raise on the flop, so he will probably not fold to such the turn-bet.

i would call the river.

what can he have. trips? why would he call with a 5 preflop.
full house? he didnt defend against the flush draw.

what do the others think of my idea?

Hmm, I don't hate the 3bet OTB, but that's a pretty loose move with A10 without some type of a read, especially at full ring (this is mainly a 6-max forum BTW).

I like the flop raise, not crazy about the turn raise, Villain has shown significant interest and is probably not going away, I suppose just calling would be ok since it's cheap.

I don't know what could make this a difficult decision on the river though. Villain has well over 1/2 his stack in by now, just called a significant raise on the turn and hero has a reasonably weak A, I really don't think there is anything to do here other than fold.

I would guess Villain has maybe 88+ with a heart?

WHA??? We are never ahead on this river. You realize we hold nothing right? If you want to bluff push the river to try and steal the hand that's a different discussion, but you are never good for a call here. EVER.

i normally would fold such hands. but thats a very special situation.

what could he hold on flop?

flush? if so. he would have bet more, only if he had king high flush and thought it was good.

overpair? why would he bet so less? there is a very dangerous draw.

trips? same reason.

in my opinion it just looks like he holds a king high flush draw and makes some blocking bets to discourage action.

on river he just wanna buy the pot. (a low bet i know but i still think he got almost nothing =))

but better dont listen to me.
i am probably not that expirienced like the others ;-)

if you think he is just a weak player who slowplays some jacks or something like that on a flush draw board, you are all perfectly right with folding.

but do you understand my idea? /images/graemlins/smile.gif
