quick question about open raising is it better to open to pot or 4bb+1for each limper or dose it really make a diffrence some argue that if u open 4bb+1 you will win a bigger pot in the end but i guess the same goes for when you will lose a bigger pot and have to Cbet higher

4BB+1 is the standard around here.
Pot is pretty close to it, it's like 3.5+1 or some [censored].
A lot of people do pot because it's faster to just hit that button than type in how much you want to raise. Especially if you have decisions to make on like 8 other tables.

You're also cutting down the odds for the blinds to call.

UTG limps, you raise 4bb, bb is getting 6-3 immediate and more likely 9-3. You raise 5bb and bb is getting 7-4 and less in implied (it's 4% of a full stack instead of 3%). If he hits a monster, he's going to get 33x his money, rather than 25x -- if he gets paid off. If I'm paying off monsters, I'd like it to be the latter.

And then there's the other reasons mentioned. In total, they're all good reasons. Though not likely to impact your winrate much by itself, add all the good things together and they come out very positive.

All in all, if you're playing good, +EV poker, raise it up properly and you'll win more.
