Reads and thoughts...

Nothing great. villian had been playin 30 20 2 but only over like 15 hands. hadnt seen n e thing specific and i hadnt noticed a raise of 5bbs yet so i have no idea wut that means.

but my thinking is i have an over boat and villian is a relative unknown. yet i still think it is thin either way. by the river bringing a 3rd 2 on the board i figured that he now valued 55-88 MUCH MUCH more then he did on the turn and i couldnt see why he would check the turn with JJ+ (altho i wouldnt b stunned one bit if he showed up with JJ+ here)

so do u like a river shove over this weak ass bet or just sigh and call?!?!??!

For that matter not even sure on the flop and turn. lol. i actually think the whole hand is close. so lets hear the whole hand.

Depend on how often he got an overpair when he open-raise UTG , specially when he stayed in the pot after ur flop raise.
You can get value from what? 55-66-77-88 , and u can get called by 99-1010-jj-qq-kk-aa , and if hes bad he can have 44-33 or A2 LMAO.

I dont know strange spot and strange blocker bet , i think i just call seriously.

Normally when I see a large raise PF it means a medium PP hand that someone is scared to play such as TT or close to it.

The turn check ether meant I have a boat and hopes you will bet or maybe he just gave up on his unimproved and overplayed AK.

You can still beat many hands and your turn check can be seen as weak aswell. I would think you were beat but with a $5 river bet I would have to call but be ready to instamuck.

Sorry I read your hand wrong the first time I thought the players where reversed. That explains his check on the turn after you raise on the flop.

I still stand with having to call.

you can just raise to like 16.

[/ QUOTE ]hmmm... he only has like 23 or sumtin behind. doesnt makin it 16 seem more strong then just actually pushing in this spot given stacks and pot size? or u think it will basically force him to call wider then a shove does?

well, if he'll call with hands like 4x/stuff like 55 for a shove sure. i dont know if his calling range for AI > as much as something like $16. but if you think this guy is a tard, sure.
