Without a maniac read on the opponent I would fear for my ass.
Guys who push in for twice the pot usually mean business.

Pushing the flop would have been a garbage play btw.

Either push or fold the flop, don't call. The choice is yours really, he's your villain - for what its worth I usually push here.

Don't just say what you would do without motivating, that gives no help at all.
I still think pushing the flop is crap.

Edit: Gah... I just said what I would do without motivating. I'm a true dirtbag.
And now I can't even think of a reason why I don't like pushing the flop.
Please help me...

Yeah against an aggressive guy I like a push, he has underpair, single pair with club etc to justify it

Okay, how about this for motivation? Villain is aggressive and is very likely to c/r with A/images/graemlins/club.gif or even something like TT or 77 (probably with one club). You're ahead of his range most of the time to make this a shove. If he has a set or flush, oh well. But get him to stack off on flop w/A/images/graemlins/club.gif because he may not put any more money in on the turn if another club doesn't hit.
