Estimating his hand range, I think I'm behind to a lot. My small "effective stack" makes raising preflop difficult if I decide to go that route. I would really hate to call here. What's the best way to go?

Raise. Even though 60 hands is a small hand sample, 25/20 means hes been raising a lot PF. I raise here and reevaluate if he shoves. Make it 4-4.5 to go here.

I'd raise to $3.50-4. Don't worry about push until it happens. He should probably move in TT+, AQ+ or so but could very well call with most of that range, and on the flip side may push even wider. Think it's probably a fold if he does. If he folds, great. Facing a call I c-bet most flops and *probably* call push at this point.

I don't really play short, but here we go.

reraise your standard 3 bet amount, probably go $3 since your short. You take this down preflop >50%. I pretty much agree with Vix, def. c bet any flop. Go from there

I fold to a push preflop everytime. Your very rarely going to see AJ push from a 25/20, and are at best flipping. AK is close and read based, I likely fold to an unknown for 100bb's. Short I probably call, since he is probably putting you on a wider range.

[/ QUOTE ]AK is snapcall once you 3bet and face push IMO. Equity against the type of hands he should push increases dramatically. Assuming he pushes AQ, which I think is probably true.

In this hand, I agree AK is a snap call. I intended to say AK is close and read based for 100bbs.
