I'm playing pretty tight 19/15/3, villian is loose 42/13/1 but seems decent and thinking player. Preflop is standard i assume we're deep and i'm on the button, by the river no hand really make sense for him here, that would check call the turn and fire the river like that.

First of all I would have definitly raised the flop here. i might even have reraised preflop.

As it stands, its really tricky to imagine what he could be holding here.

I can't imagine him calling the turn bet with pocket 7s. A runner runner straight also seems out of the question, given he is a thinking player, as you put it.

with a vpip of 42, a hand like k7 suited is not out of the question.

I might fold this and pick a better spot. it is a cooler though, without more reads, its a tough one.

That wasnt too helpful was it :P

this looks like 90% missed FD, and he thinks he has a lot of FE with you. I pretty much snap call this all the time.

Anybody check behind on the turn in this spot?

no draws are too big a part of villainīs range. Iīm not snap calling here though, but draws defenitely make up a big part of villainīs range...

You can squeeze this preflop too. Raise to $8 and put the pressure on. As played I would certainly raise the flop for value and protection. The way you have played the hand he has either backed into a set or he has air. I think I shrug and call.

I seriously snap call here.I just dont understand which hand he can bet this big on river with who dont raise turn with all those draws...except 34 of clubs.

EDIT: my bad didnt notice u were so deep sorry ... but my arguments are still working...i still snap call anyway but im now more afraid of a two pair hand. I think folding is -EV.

Note that his agression factor is very low. Does he bets a missed flush draw like this? I would actually fold without better reads.
