Didn't really know what to do here but I feel like I could have done something differently - maybe bet more on the fop and fire again on the turn? I was just lost as to what is in his range that calls the 3bet preflop and flat calls the flop. I guess it could be overcards or any pocket pair. Anyway, I don't know if the guy is 2+2 but he seemed to play a solid game - meaning the hands he had shown down had been winners. If he's payed attention to me, he's noticed that I've been somewhat aggressive but the hands I've shown down have been strong. His stats were 18/14/2.5 over 70 hands. His flop aggression was 1.0 and river agg of infinity but I don't think these mean a whole lot given the sample size.

Ehh, now that I've previewed my post I think I've probably answered my own questions but I'd still like input. I think the stack sizes in this hand made me freeze up.

then please tell me I don't know what to do on the river,
I think with a set he would bet the turn,so did you run into jacks?

I think I would fold the river but it's a feeling,have no
clear reasoning....

dont 3-bet this hand 200BBs deep, you're sucking all the value out of it. As played id probably bet/fold the turn, fold the river now this bet-size is like always some kind of thin value-bet.

I'd have to agree with you on not 3 betting preflop b/c this was a very awkward spot for me. FWIW, I did fold the river, but I was wondering if I could successfully put him on an accurate range given we were deepish and he was in position, which = he can call my 3 bet with a wider range, imo.

i agree he can call w/ a wider range, which is why i like b/f the turn. It makes him much less likely to bluff you and gets more value from hands you beat than checking and hoping he bluffs this deep, since i cant see him v-betting worse ever at these stakes.
