Hey there, Im talking with someone about a stake/coaching deal for microstakes.
What is a good option for both of us. Im primarily interested in learning so the money is not a huge reason for this. I see most staking deals are around 50% ? What would be a good figure to add coaching. It wouldnt be intensive coaching. Maybe a few hours a week to review hand histories. The occaisional sweating of a session. (If it helps he is a winning primarily HU 2/4 and 3/6 player.)

As long as it's not CenturianMX or whatever.

Who's getting staked? You? If money isn't an issue, why do you need to get staked?

i was recently playing 5/10c and i pushed my roll up to 800$ from my third deposit of 50. So i know i am a winning player now. I just had to draw out my entire bankroll 2 days ago to pay off an unexpected debt.i dont want to grind it out at 5/10 anymore but i would like to give 10/25 or 25/50 a shot. And im more interested in doing this as soon as possible with help from a midstakes player.
It is about the money but im much more willing to invest my winnings into some sort of coaching and pokertracker and other tools to help me make the jump from micros to small/midstakes as this is more important to me.

So... you deposited $50, played only $.05/.10 games, and managed to get to 800 without moving up?

How many hands/hours did you play? Even if you ran like god (10PTBB/100), 12 tabling, it'd take you over 40 hours of playtime to accomplish this.

Your story doesn't make much sense.

You aren't going to find a mid-stakes coach for less than $100/hr, and that $800 is gon' be gone mighty fast. And if you ran that good at 10NL, then you'd be able to beat 25NL for at least half of that much, it's not that different of a game.

You aren't going to find any mid-stakes or small stakes players to stake you at 25NL. Even 50/50, assuming you are uber awesome, you are gonna earn them at most like $10/hr.

I guess I'm just not seeing what you are looking for with this post. Advice as to whether 50/50 staking is good enough deal? Yes, it is, but like I said above, I doubt you'll find someone willing.

I already have someone willing. Thats not the problem. Im asking about the split that would be fair. And as i also said. i Dont want intensive(perhourly) coaching. Just someone to review some hand histories etc..I didnt run like god, nor do i 10 table. I 3 table after work for 2 - 3 hours every day for the last 2 months or so. WHen did i say i made 800$ in 1 month?
And the 800$ is already gone!!

And a max of 10$ per hour at 50NL is wrong.

Can someone else that is not 75% retarded please reply.

If u can already beat .05/.1 u don't need coaching to beat .10/.25. It's like the same thing except with on or two more tags per table. Just post any questionable hands in here and save your money.

man look at BBV there is a staking thread, they do coaching deals too, all covered there. But I reccomend you rebuild and do it on your own dime. The guys who are staking will want graphs from PT so you'll need to buy it.
