Villain is 16/12/8 over 300-ish hands, and is currently 12-tabling. No real siginificant history between us. My image is TAGish, running at like 19/15/2 on this table.

Ugly, def comes off like a set though. He could have 9Ts, but I'd fold here too.

you can probably fold on the flop

i'm folding or calling mixing it up according to villain's play. With the small sample stats given above i'm folding and picking a better spot.

he's showing 2p+ here since hes 12 tabling and i don't think he wants to create huge pots oop while playing so many tables.

Hmmm, I'm not sure this is a set.
I see tags do this with 56/9T and pairs like 55/66/99 too.

He does seem very strong when he leads turn though. Bit torn on this one, as I see many players with tagish stats play spewtastically after the flop. Wish we had a better read than numbers.

I'm really not sure what the best line is, I hate getting checkraised and then lead into. But this isn't always 2pair+...tons of pp's will do this if they don't believe you. Against some villains I'm fine with calling the turn with the intention of checking/folding on the river.

If I'm calling the flop raise, I find it hard to fold now.

Me too, and after 300 hands I usually have quite a few notes, but had none on this villain. Which means I haven't seen many hands he's played go to showdown.

FWIW, after I call the flop CR, he has to be giving me a range of about 77-AA, 22 (after i opened UTG), so I don't see why he'd go wild with like 99 or TT against that range, which crushes them. And i also don't think he ever slowplays QQ+ pf.

EDIT: Also, during the hand, i looked at how often he CRed flop, and it was 1/26.
