Would someone play it differently?
I think i can't fold to his river bet, the pot is too big. Should i fold on the turn? I dont think he got an 8, maybe an overpair?

Once again, depending on the read, you may want to reraise preflop. If you would call the turn, which I would probably do, the river call is good. The pot is really too big to fold there, considering you beat the person if he doesn't have an overpair or an 8.

I don't like donking the flop and then checking the turn. A call of the donkbet from villain on a paired flop doesn't say much IMHO.
I'd c/r the flop most of the time and then shut down.

On the turn I'd put him on 33,44,55,66 or a small overpair and I'd call the river not seeing much that you can beat but you only need to be good 1 in 5 times so a river call is still profitable.

how do you proceed if he calls my c/r ?
Bet out again on the turn, if it's an undercard, like the 5h here?

I'd c/f the turn after he has called my c/r. Overcards are generally folding to a flop c/r so the only hands he has that you realistically beat here are 33,44,66 and they would often check behind for pot control. A lot more combinations that would bet for value, have you dead.

Id bet again on the turn. This will give you a good idea of where you are in the hand. Its quite possible he is just calling your raise on the flop with two overs or that you have him beat. Betting on the turn I think will cause him to fold alot of the time, and if he re-raises you, then you can get away from the hand. If he calls, then you c/f the river depending on the size of this bet. Betting the turn in these situations gives you a good idea of where you are in the hand and saves you difficult decisions on the turn and river.

i would raise a bit more preflop. if they re raise, follow 5-10 rule, to maek ur decision, and if they call uve got the leading on the betting, and a possibility of a strong hand, then act accordingly, and if they call ur bet, then raise u, i would consider folding.

Versus a NL25 unknown, my plan after getting called on the flop would be to check-fold the turn.

However, there's chance I'd reconsider when Villain bet only 1/2 pot.

Once you get to the river, there's no folding for another mere dollar.

I'd imagine that at NL10, your turn call is even less questionable.

pretty much my thoughts exactly. the flop donk is probably ok since most people will react straightforwardly at this limit.
