Either bet more on the flop so this shove isn't so akward or bet small on the turn and get the rest in on the river regardless of what comes.

I would bet a little more on the flop ($5.25) or so.

6c isn't really a scare card, so I wouldn't shove. I think we can maximize our value out of another standard turn bet. Make it $12.50 or so and call a shove.

I guess I thought that betting 14 or so would be pointless since he would only have 8 behind. Is someone really going to call 12 but not 20?

Calling stations do. They think they might save a few bucks if you chicken on the river. If you overbet push, well, they've got no hope of that...
