Ahhh....I don't have my whole database with me. I think I only played like 22K hands and only made like $900 before bonuses. (Just a little less than 1/2 of the hands from July and just a bit less than 1/3 of the cash.....disappointing and f'n lazy).

And I've got the stupid LSAT's on Sept. 29th which means I probably won't play too much in Sept. either.


Hopefully I get like a 170 on LSAT's (get into a law school I want) and then play 75,000+ (at the very least) hands of poker a month until law school starts.

August sucked. I can't handle the swings, and I don't think I'm a very good player. Tried to improve my game at $50NL, and it was a tilted nightmare. Freaking 6bi up and down swings in 1500 hands. Made $200 playing $50NL when I would have made $600 playing 25NL. I can't get it together, so starting at hand 9,000 I moved down to $25NL with a 100 bi roll (WTF!). I'm transitioning from weaktight 14/10 multitabling nit and opening my game up. I'm actually really comfortable doing that at $25NL. Last 1k hands have been 22/18/3.3 and winning at a hugely unsustainable winrate. I think I'll try to play more this month (20K or so hands) with the more open style. Hopefully I don't run into huge swings, and can make a better run at $50NL in Oct. I'll be happy with anything over 6ptbb at $25NL, but I predict 9+ptbb 2-4 tabling is possible if I don't tilt too hard.

I made my last forced cash out (evar hopefully, yay no longer a pro!) in the start of august to cover the month and the planned vacation middle of the month and left myself with 400$ and was looking to rebuild from scratch, so I hit 20NL

Overall I am happy with the results. The win rate is meh but I have improved the following:

o went from 18/11 to 18/14
o steal % went up from 20 to 29
o improved aggression on each street

I am still running at 8ptbb/100 over 41K at NL10. I am looking forward to September so that I can clear $150 bonus and move to NL25 at FTP for rakeback/first time deposit bonus.

august was mediocre at best until this morning. then it went to the crapper real quick. i hit a few coolers, moved to 25NL to chase the BR, hit a couple more coolers, tilted a little, hit my stop loss. overall, lost 28% of my roll today to ridiculous beats and a little bad play.

BR @ 1.5k [cashed out MTT winnings]. Plan to play 30-50k hands this month. 2k hands/day would be nice. +0BB/100 would be great. Hope to clear FTP bonus, get some sweet sweet rakeback, and hopefully take at least a shot at nl100 if my BR @ FTP tops 1.2k (of my current br 650 of it is @ stars where i plan to keep it and then work that one up once the FTP bonus is clear).

This was my first month of getting back into poker after taking quite a few months off. Right at hand 30K I moved up to NL50 and have been running hot there for a couple thousand hands. Hopefully it'll continue into September. I just got a job, so I probably wont put in as many hands next month. Add in another $240ish from Rakeback and im right around 1k this month. I hope next months graph doesn't have as many downward swings as this one did.

Ive had definetely the best 10 days of my poker life on August. From Aug 20 to Aug 31, Ive played 11.7 hours, and I have managed to make 910$ playing NL .25-.50.
Since last month, Ive been working on my game trying to play more aggro, and it seems to be giving its results.
Another adjust Ive made is to start 5 tabling, one of my mistakes was that I was getting kind of bored by playing 3 tables, and started raising crap and making some fancy moves, but having 5 tables going at once forces me to play a good TAG game.
I try to narrow my sessions to about an hour, and try to avoid playing when tired. Amazingly I have never tilted this past days. Generally Ive been making about 3/4s of my session profit on the first half hour.
The only thing I regret is not having more time to play.
Hope September goes just like this, I was thinking on moving up soon, but with the results Ive been having, I think I will just wait one more month.

august i began developing an interest in cash after an almost exclusive tournament past...so even though some people can get the hand totals i did in one day, i like that i put a lot of hands in, and hoping to increase it next month

after a small downswing of 6 buyins, plus college getting started, i decided to take a break and start back up in september, booking a good profit on the first month of my playing cash. the majority of the graph is 10NL, becomes 25NL right around hand 7k

Well, August was the first month I played since I took a break from poker almost a year ago. Started with a $32 roll at 5NL (lol BR management) which I got from selling some MTGO product and turned that into $200 after a couple thousand hands with a ridiculous BB/100. Moved up to 10NL and proceeded to break even over 11k hands. I think I'm playing well but have run into a lot of coolers and runner-runner suckouts. Ah well, that's poker.

I've managed to keep building my roll playing $5 SNGs though... I've played 6 so far and have cashed in every one... that's a nice feeling.

Next month I hope to play more hands and move up to 25NL once I have $500.

bugh, played a good number of hands in August ~9500 which is prety good for me, made the move from 4 tabling to 6 tabling. Tightened up my vpip significantly. Goals for Sept. are to play 28k hands find someone to do session reviews with on a regular basis I know I still have large holes in my game and to watch at least one CR video each day.

Like I said, not going well right now but I'm a stubborn SOB and I'm going to do several things in September.

1. Take more stabs at pots that no one seems interested in
2. Be more aggressive overall
3. C-bet in better spots to try and avoid them getting picked off
4. Don't chase draws without proper odds/don't overestimate implied odds
5. Don't play marathon sessions...1k hands is plenty at one sitting
6. Find my [censored] fold button and put it to good use

So this was my first full month back into cash games after a two year hiatus. Having cashed out of all of the sites long ago, I took the UB points I had accrued and started entering low cost MTT's. I was able to scratch together $200, and figured I was properly rolled for .05/.10 I started grinding:

In August I started out with a very tight style of play. As the month progressed I began to loosen up my game and that is when all heck broke loose as can be seen from the large swings. I have recently switched over to the Gelford Ubernit style and was doing fine until I took a 1.5BI loss to coolers and turned it into a 5BI loss due to steam.

My goals for September are:
1. Stay true to the Ubernit style
2. Quit crying about variance
3. Become smart aggressive on later streets (I have spewy aggressive mastered /images/graemlins/tongue.gif)
4. Kill 10NL at 10+ PT BB/100 so I can move up to 25NL
5. 50k Hands

Started off well and was able to cash out down to 1/2 my roll (as I like to do) within the first week and still have a healthy amount left for 25NL.
I was building back up steadily until the genius idea of playing 7 stud, 5cd and 1/2 minbet holdem struck me, where I proceeded to donk off 2/3rds of my cash, because y'know, those games are easy to beat. I'm playing 10NL until my sanity and/or bankroll comes back.

September goals: to not be a donk for an entire month.

In July I went to North Carolina to be with friends(live in FL). Came back on August 15th with $200 in my wallet and $127 on Full Tilt from July's rakeback and just made a ridiculous run. Wish every month was as good as this.

2.29 ptBB/100 might be nothing to brag about, but green numbers are good numbers. On top of that I made Silver Star on stars for the first time, so all in all a good month for poker. Even though august sucked hard and put me completely on life tilt.

August was pretty tough month. I went on a rather demoralising 13 buyin downswing which was all nearly reversed by 2 megadonks with huge stacks. I am not happy with my game at but can't quite put my finger on why. I think my rather high variance plays are starting to get to me and are not profitable especially at 50nl.
12k is actually a lot for me compared to other months. 4 tables is my maximum, I have no idea how people 6-8 table.

I had a motivational propbet with a friend for most hands this month and was 22k hands behind him on the 29th so moved down to $2nl 6max and 12 tabled the fast games. I had another 2 1/2 hours to play for the month but was about 1200 hands ahead of him and with us both 12 tabling the same game we decided to end the month as i had a big enough lead for him not to catch me up. I was aiming for 30k but didnt need to in the end.

The loss of the last hands was based on some weird FPS. I hope I can stop that very soon. Goal for Sept is 7,5k hands and a solid profit. Dunno if I can reach that many hands du to moving and an upcoming teeth surgery. We'll see.

I came back to poker after 3 months of not playing and apparently forgot how to play.

I was playing 50NL when I left, but decided to move over to Full Tilt to clear the bonus and get RB, there was some problems with my ePassporte, so I only got 600 deposited and only played 10NL instead of 25NL like I planned. And I got crushed.

-5PTBB/100 and 15+ BI later, I'm not so happy with myself. Being uber rusty, not having PA HUD for most of it, and not adjusting well to the massive amount of calling stations hurt. I think I ran slightly bad as well (AA was a losing hand for over a week in my DB). And I'm retarded and have been like "a standard open? Pot it" only to realize the fish opened for 20BB more than once /images/graemlins/crazy.gif And at least 5 or 6 of the buy-ins were from retarded tilt.


September I'm going to really work on my game and hopefully kill 10NL for 5-10PTBB/100. Day one went well, ran crazy super-hot while playing ubernit (11.something/8.something) and ended up running 17PTBB/100 over almost 2200. It felt good /images/graemlins/grin.gif Really, I'd be satisfied if I can finish the month at 6PTBB/100 *crosses fingers*
