Villain is shortstacked, that's all I know.

What to do here? I think he got a J here. Is this a VB?

I check this one behind, don't see that much value in betting here. Probably only get value from J,x

Checking behind here is best. Your kicker is too weak to be value betting if he also has a jack, and if he has a busted flush draw, he isn't calling anyway. This is one of those situations where you'll likely only get called by a hand that beats you.

I would shove the turn 99% of the time. Villain will call with his entire range, you are ahead more often than not.

Shove turn, lots of draws in his range, villian this bad might also call with underpairs and random crap.

Ok, outcome:

I bet the river, he called and showed Q6...

I thought with JTs we wanted to have outs to straights and flushes. Can someone in favor of pushing turn explain why we're doing that with second pair bad kicker? Is it just because he checked? Because I see passive donkeys do that all the time.

Bet the turn. And, dnornd, the reason is that his range is so heavy with flush draws the way he played this hand. The donk .10 bet followed by the call of the raise and check on turn is highly indicative of a flush draw and the Q on the turn even helps as it makes it less likely that he has a Q.

i agree with "shoving" the turn. the only point of confusion with this advice however is that a shove on villains stack is just a pot size bet.

with these stacks, i think you max value and price out draws best by potting (shoving) the turn.
