Hero ?

I make a standard c-bet on the flop. Do i bet too small on turn/river? What should i do now and what should i have done differently?

Did i make this HH unreadable?

I would tend to play this hand the same way had the flop been 5 8 J. I don't have a real strong hand, but it still might be the best, so I'm going to try to keep the pot small. I would check/call the turn and then see what happens on the river, probably check/calling a smallish bet if no scare cards came.

Just because you hit top pair on the turn doesn't mean you have to bet it. You're building too big a pot here, IMO. This has the added benefit of showing that you'll check the turn when you have something.

Kind of, you'll get more responses on your posts if you format them in an easier to read, more familiar to 2+2ers type format.
