I hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE these situations. The villain is 14/9/7 over 300 hands. He's one of those guys who always c-bets the flop but his river AF is just 1.

What's the best line here? Do I c/c the flop OOP then donk a safe-ish turn? The reason I hate doing this is because it seems like we're only folding out hands that we have beat while only the big over pairs will play.

Do I c/c all the way for reasonable bets?

Should I have lead the river here?

imo i would not be asking about the river. Get agressive and lead the flop / turn.

As is fold the river, villian is ultra tag and will hold an A more times than not.

Ya it's probably best to fold the river.

However, leading the flop is very, very bad.

This is too strong of a hand to play this passively. Re-raise pre-flop, check-raise flop, etc., do SOMETHING to take the initiative here

If he's 14/9, he's not going to play low cards. More than not he's probably holding two over cards.

Lead the pot.
Bet the turn.
