From such a passive player, this is a huge warning signal. I think you are beat here unfortunately. He either hit trip sixes or was slowplaying a set or something, but I don't see him doing this with top pair.

i like raising pre to isolate. he is 39/0 over 40hands. punish him for limping in with garbage.
bet more on flop, u have top 2, gotta build the pot.

True, but I want gutshots and A6 to stick around here. Betting the pot might get them to fold out.

War,

I just don't like your line here. With one passive limper I will raise this hand on the button every time to isolate -- I don't want to play JK in a multi-way pot if I don't have to. Plus if UTG re-raises you pf, you can safely fold.

You hit the flop hard, so bet it. Why slow-play a 2-pair -- it's not the nuts. I don't understand the mentality of '..wanting draws sticking around...' because that's probably what happened and now you are behind AQ, Q9, any 6. So bet the flop 3/4 pot and protect/get value for your hand.

raise pre you want to isolate/take lead with this hand. then bet flop.

as played bet more on the flop and turn prob fold river though.
seems like in your posts today your playing around with keeping the pot really small vs bad opponnents i dont get it.

Why? Are you going to be happy when scare card hits? Folding top 2? If ya want them to stay around, at least charge 'em for it.
