Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker (http://www.legopoker.com) Hand History Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

BB: $27.00
Hero (UTG): $25.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt 9http://legopoker.com/hh/images/clubnormal.gif 9http://legopoker.com/hh/images/spadenormal.gif (6 Players)
Hero raises to $1.00, 4 folds, BB raises to $4.00, Hero ???

Villain was unknown. The raise from him is very big. I can not call that for setvalue, right? So I should fold? Or should I call and try to bluff him out sometimes on the flop. Maybe he is raising with AK or AQ and if he do not hit the flop I can use my position to win the pot.
What should I do against an unkwon player?

Considering you are UTG and not opening from CO/Btn, against most people you should fold this. You already stated you cant play for setvalue alone, and BB is showing alot of strength 3betting you considering you are UTG. It is gonna cost you almost half your stack to find out if he missed the flop or not. Fold and get him another hand.

I agree with the above. At these stakes a raise from the SB against an UTG raiser usually means at leastt JJ or better or AK. IMO it is not worth it to call.
