Preflop, once you get called, you're probably at least a slight underdog to actually end up with the best hand. I mention this because I think it's something to keep in mind when you raise with a hand like A8o (or QJo, or other stealing hands along those lines).

But that's a really nice flop for your hand. (I'd much rather have top pair with an 8 than with an A.) And, in any case, I'd be planning to c-bet on most flops.

I'm really kind of hoping to take it down immediately on the flop, though, and then, when that bad turn card fell, I would probably check and see what Villain wanted to do. There's simply not much you're beating anymore (66-55, 33-22 and hands like 98s and 76s seem to be about it, unless Villain made a loose flop peel).

So, if I bet the turn and got called again, I think I'd mostly be done with the hand.

Unfortunately, I think the river is a fold.

I would pot the flop.

I like the 3/5 bet on the turn.

River is a fold but I do really wonder what he has.

I think checking this turn isnt atrocious for some pot control, and probably then a bet/fold on the river

As played, on the river you fold. You see a flush here most of the time.
