Villian is a 2+2 tag. very aggro but im playing fairly nitty and im pretty positive he uses a HUD so the 3bet call surprised me.

please stop 3 betting so small. make it 4 preflop to start. he should b calling this small 3 bet from u with a reasonably wide range. u r oop thus making it a smaller 3bet is even worse.

as played u have to check the turn and figure out wut is goin on from their. betting the turn seems rather bad and basically turning ur hand into a bluff. u r behind his range but i doubt he is folding many hands that u r ahead of.

Sucks the turn blanked but remember that villain is an aggro stealing from the button.

Why does he have to have an ace here?

I wouldn't be suprised if we are ahead here.

I wouldn't mind getting it all in here.

If we push we are just folding worse hands.
He might stab w/ 9h9x and be priced in to call a CR push.

I like a check (and raise). If he checks behind it's not the end of the world.

We have 54% equity against:
QQ+,JcJh,JdJh,JhJs,TcTh,TdTh,ThTs,9c9h,9d9h,9h9s,8 8,7c7h,7d7h,7h7s,6c6h,6d6h,6h6s,AJs+,KhQh,JhTh,9h8 h,AJo+,Ac2h

What do you think about this range?

As Kaz said PF is not great.

You are oop against an aggressive player.

Repop to $4.

What is a fair estimate for V's range? 99+ (assuming he didn't flop a set of 8s), AJo+, AJs+?

Against this range you're at worst a 60-40 dog.

Considering the fold equity you have against AxXh when the 4th heart didn't hit, I say shove.

Well he can't have KhQh and do we think he'll call the 3bet (I agree, make it $4.00) with JhTh, 8h9h?

Your preflop bet gives him odds to crack your over pair if you are unable to fold big pairs.

Tough spot.

soul thats an awesome avatar.

OP,

Stop pussy betting preflop. There, I said it bluntly.

Also,

I think ima c.r AI here. Let him try and outplay you, then shove it right back up his ass.

I think he is way more likely to call a 3bet with a hand like that as opposed to an Ace rag hand that he might have been stealing with.
