This comes up every now and then when I 3 bet and I cant understand what kind of hand does this. It makes no sense to me unless they are bet folding...this makes me feel like shoving is +EV but I havn't tried it yet.

Villians are pretty average...like 19/12s that understand position and stuff.

Anyways...here is an example.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker (http://www.legopoker.com) Hand History Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

SB: $76.35
Hero (BB): $48.00
UTG: $52.05
CO: $66.00
BTN: $50.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt T/images/graemlins/heart.gif K/images/graemlins/heart.gif (5 Players)
3 folds, <font color="red">SB raises to $1.50</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $6.00</font>, SB calls $4.50

Flop: ($12) 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 Players)
<font color="red">SB bets $12.00</font>

Pot Size: $24.00

You try and let us know how it works out...

I'm guessing they have a set or TPTK type hand...I laugh out loud whenever it happens though since I'm almost always going to c-bet. You should thank him for saving you $9

I fold, standard villains don't pull moves like this. They don't call rr's from the SB and then donkbet the flop unless they have something or they're super tricky.
