You are not betting enough on the flop. Its very draw heavy and you want to make someone pay if their going to chase a draw. Just go ahead and pot the flop. Once he minraised you though you did the right thing and just shoved all in.

How can you possible think this is a bad move when you loose to a runner runner? We have all seen this before, so pls move it to the BBV forum.

I realize it was a bad beat, but i still wanted some thoughts on it. The poster who told me i didnt bet enough on the flop was helpful.

You probably should bet more on the flop -- mostly because you'd like to be in the position to put Button all-in on the turn without making a huge overbet (in case he has a draw he wants to chase, basically). Since he's short-stacked, you have the opportunity to do that.

But you were unlucky. Obviously Button merely had two crappy runner-runner draws (the backdoor straight and the perfect-perfect draw to quads) versus your hand and you're going to win this hand the massive majority of the time once that flop comes.
