i think against a decent player your line should mainly depend on what you do with other stuff. if you're shoving AK and QQ here, you should shove. If you like to see a flop before you get jiggy with those hands, you should probably do that here.

In isolation it's best to call and get ai on the flop but it's fairly close.

against a decent tag i call and then shove n e flop or call a shove or w/e. a shove pre is ok but i think he will find a fold with JJ AK and maybe QQ if u do that. dont let him play perfect against u.

This was why I asked, I worry that a shove lets him play perfect. My only concern with calling is with a hand like AK if he whiffs then I don't get another penny from him, while he might call a shove w AK pre.

WTF is this? A "decent tag" is almost never 4betting JJ, and he'll follow you to value town with QQ+, AK.
