Should I have folded preflop to fear of domination and being out of position?

Here I think a fold is correct because he easily has me outkicked. Either that or AA KK none of which likes me very much. Thanks in advance.

No, check raise flop, fold to 3bet. As played fold is marginal, sometimes I 3bet here.

Fold preflop or 3 bet flop, those are your choices.

Call and call down unless he checks turn, then bet river. Unless the next two cards are heart heart or Jack, Ten. It helps if you know his passive/aggressiveness. Raise UTG from standard 5nl player has no definite meaning per se, he can have a ton of hands including ones you have dominated. But, playing a medium size pot here is best and that's what calling should accomplish. Raise on flop does not mean he can beat you, not even close. If you want to "find where you are at" for some reason you can 3bet but I don't think this is the best line readless. Beware if he overbets or shoves river/turn, you are beat a huge amount of the time if he does this.
