Not much of a read, but after 20 he played half of his hands. So he may be somewhat lose.

It totally depends on your read on BB and his/her read on you. If BB is loose, then it will probably work.

Sorry for the n00b question - what does 2nd barrel mean?

As a pfr, firing both the flop and the turn as a bluff (or semibluff with most likely a very weak draw).

Perfect.

I think is a good spot too, he may just be floating and a 2nd barrel will do it.

Why if he is loose it will work?
If he is loose he will call with 2nd pair the 2nd barrel as well as the cbet.
If is tight though he will probably release kq or qj in this spot not to mention 2nd pair.

normally I would check behind on the turn to an unknown. Saturday on the other hand is a different situation and I make this move about 1/2 the time. You must realize that you don't have a good hand at all. you have one over if he does have the Q and you don't have the A. I find that I get my self in trouble sometimes playing this hand in position against lose opponents. He could call you down with anything from mid pair to A high and after you get 10- $15 in the pot and he shows down AJs you're going to be pissed you fired that 2nd barrel.

hmm you need more FE. I like overbet shoving the turn for value as he probably has a weak draw here most of the time as you said.

We're firing here because the A is a scare card. He lays down lower pairs.

If he is "loose" he isnīt folding a Q, he might not even fold a hand like 67. This is vv opponent and situation specific.
