What is your reason to make this raise? You giving him 2:1 for his call, so if he hits a J or plays a flushdraw he will at least call your raise.
I would only call his bet. I have two overcards + a backdoorflushdraw and getting something aroung 1:5.5. I would call the flop and folding the turn unimproved against a reasonable bet.

Call or you cand easily fold to his bet if you are a more conservative player. If you dont get a Backdoor flush or an ace or king fold to a turn bet.

Flop raise is standard. Fold to the reraise. Villain has a monster. You are drawing at 6 outs and they may not be good.

Make it $4 preflop.

Raise is fine...fold to 3bet.

His flop bet was weak and I wanted to price out a flush draw or put pressure on a low/medium pocket pair to fold. Next question.

Eh, yes...I don't mind the initial raise, but why the [censored] do you want to call the reraise?

Who said I wanted to call the re-raise? Just checking my line was right ......I folded to the re-raise.

Why do people on here treat those of us that are still learning with such disdain?

You asked for advice, you have been given it. Contemplating a push without reads is borderline retarded, I think you know that.

If you folded, then your line is standard and you played the hand well.

Yes, easy fold. If that ace was also a spade, it would be an easy shove, but with only two overcards and no draws, you have to fold to the reraise.

Easy fold, and I like the flop reraise, you will give yourself a much better idea, plus most of the time if he doesnt fold, he will call and check the turn, and there you can decide on taking or not a freecard.
I think raising that flop is standard.

I'd raise more both preflop and on the flop. That's only a half-pot raise. I think an extra buck or two there folds a lot more hands that we want to fold.

Yeah, I think you've gotta fold. What hands are just calling and not reraising PF, especially in the knowledge that he's going to be OOP on the flop? AA and KK would likely push back, so might QQ. With AJ or JJ I wouldn't be as interested in pushing but I can't really fold so I'd just call and hope for a nice flop.

Without a read on the villain, this is a place you could push back, I guess, and possibly win a big pot. But more often than not I think you're losing money here. I'd cut my losses and wait for a better spot to get my money in.
