Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker (http://www.legopoker.com) Hand History Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

Villain is literally playing 93/2/3 over the 200 hands I have played at this table. Ive seen him peel the flop no pair no draw multiple times, so obviously cards dont matter so much to him!!

Question is, what is the more optimal line here, check behind on the flop, shove it in on the flop, or play as is??

If played as is, turn has to be a fold right??

Mind you I've seen this guy pull some funky stuff tonight, and I've been on a vicious downswing the last couple days, so I may be a lil weak tight here.

SB: $23.00
BB: $48.65
UTG: $28.40
Hero (CO): $50.05

Flop: ($2.85) J/images/graemlins/heart.gif 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 Players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $2.85, UTG raises to $5.70, Hero calls $2.85

Turn: ($14.25) 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 Players)
UTG bets all-in for $21.45 Hero????

the turn is a fold ..you might be lucky to have 35 percent equity here ,,,

I agree turn has to be a fold, but what about line on the flop??

Thinking the hand over afterwards I'm almost positve that a Push is optimal here.

given this player, easy flop shove. you should have plenty of equity vs. his range.

The beauty of playing people who min raise is to draw cheaply, and correctly. With a hand like yours, there is a great chance that a heart will give you the best hand.

He's playing 92% of his hands, correct? That would mean hands other than Axh are likely to be held right now. He could do this with two pair, even. That's probably your best case scenario, judging from my experience.

The turn is an obvious fold. He gave you a very cheap draw which unfortunately didn't come. Chances are this guy's money won't be in front of him forever, and you are likely to be in a much better situation later.

I had a feeling you guys would say this...looked at the hand afterwards when I called the flop and went Dooooh!

Had a big decision on another table at the same time, and just kind of reflexively hit the call button.

None likes to check behind the flop?

I like the check behind...but only if hero is planning to call, rather than shove over, a check raise. It gives villain a difficult decision/ lets him stack off with his random /images/graemlins/heart.gif if the flush does come on turn.

Edit: still think shoving flop is better /images/graemlins/cool.gif

With this guy a shove on the flop is the best play imo.
With another player i would just call it.

Checking behind is for little girlie men

It isn't that bad but betting and pushing versus a check raise is better

Yeah I shut down a couple after this happened..first time playing 8 on new monitor was probably a little more than I could handle

Ya, ya... i know...i just meant if OP is gonna just flat call the raise instead of re-raising/shoving... don't bet. I dunno if i'm making any sense, rushing and tired lol. maybe someone else knows what i mean /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
