This is my first time posting a HH for review, so let me know if i messed up with how i made this post.

Basically im new to ring games. I have had a lot of success in STT and MTTs, but have grown very frustrated with them so i am trying to learn cash game strategies.

Posting this hand because it is the first big hand in which i feel i really slowed down and looked at all aspects of villian's hand objectively to make an informed decision on the river, and i would like to know if there are any improvements i could make in how i played the hand.

Raise more preflop 5 is not enough, raise the flop but if you are going for pot control, check behind turn, fold river as played.

3bet to about 8 in hand 1. Otherwise i dont think I can give great full ring responses, you should try that forum.

in the first hand...why fold river as played? my thought process was that he couldnt show up with 2 hearts here and my only concern was JJ.

and how much more should i raise PF?

thanks

yea ive seen the forum before, but never really saw higher than NL100 in there.

do most 2p2'ers who play seriously prefer 6-man tables? if so, why?

edit: geuss i dont check it enough...i see a few 400nl in there now

6 max games get more traffic, you see more hands, the play is more aggressive which makes it easier to get the money in and so on.
