i took an alternative line here. what do you guuys think? whats a better play? villain is 46.3/38.8, so pretty crazy?
do you guys like this line against a more passive opponent?

I'm just a lurker here, but I like reraising PF against an opponent like this. I'd be willing to go all in PF against an opponent that's 46/38...I'm assuming you have quite a few hands on him to make this stat worth while.

I don't get it. Villain is crazy aggro so you weak lead in a 3bet pot and fold when he raises his any two.

4bet pf and get AI most likely, unless you think he is only get AI pf w/ the goods obv. And i dont like the donk bet. if he is crazy then he probalby isnt foldin here, most likely will raise like he did and you will have to fold.

Against this guy I 4-bet preflop and call a shove.
Your line on the flop doesn't make sense. Your bet screams weakness. Of course he re-raises. Either make a real bet or check/fold if you think you are behind.

ok, so my bet screams weakness. but doesnt it get value out of 99-tt- weaker pairs who will just call?

and yea, you guys are right i think, 4 bet -call a shove would be best against this player. but i think donkbetting is very very under-rated against weaker players at this level.

This isn't a weak player.

for example, let's say you happened to get about $20 in PF with this guy and you had a $40 pot and $28 behind or whatever it is. Against a weak player who calls a lot, you bet the rest, and that's the value you're talking about. Against an extremely aggressive player like this, you crai or check and call his all in. That's where you get the most value. Let them hang themselves.

Ah, no. It just gets those hands to push you off your hand with a raise. Now if you 3b pushed on the flop! you fold out all his non-ace, non-set hands and that would be pretty sexy combined with your $1 bet.
