I've only seen 20 or so hands on villain. Seems passive. Hows my line? is river an easy call?

Zeebo this all day. You're not afraid of quads, preflop and flop action rule out KK and AA, and youre ahead of everything else. CALL CALL CALL CALL CALL

I'd fold the turn.

a passive villain MIN-raised our turn bet (which was slightly too small)

the big clue here being passive - he has a 9 or an over pair or flopped a boat.

We beat JJ/TT and are beaten by 9x KK+ or 66

he isn't doing this with A6.

If we are going to call the turn raise I'd c/c up to ~2/3 pot on the river and try and see SD as cheap as possible. Passive villains tend not to throw in their ~200BB deep stacks without a top hand and more of his range here beats us than pays us.

matrix I agree with you on the turn, but after the river card can we really put him on the case 9 that beats us (KK and AA seem very improbable, correct?)

Matrix,

FPS on my part on the turn. $4 on the flop, $10 on the turn in retrospect.

Is it reasonable to assume villain is passive, having only seen 20 hands? He could be anything except super super LAG.

flop betsize is goot the flops missed just about every hand he could hold we want to get some value out of our overpair - and I think $9 on the turn is big enough.

River is a call I'd make if I had a big roll and can handle the variance. It's entirely possible he's a moran who just rivered a flush but if it is a call it's a thin one.

KK+ is unlikely but not impossible by any means.

If you can ever put someone on quads, this might be the hand to do it with.

Based on the pot odds that you are offered, better that 2 to 1, on the river i think you should call.
I think in more than 33% cases you have him beat so i would call he's Allin.

[/ QUOTE ]lol. yea id say he has quads like 25% of the time. prolly KK+ 15% but we beat everything else. there is no way im folding this on the river. turn is a whole new ball game tho.
